My tournament season ahead!

2011 has brought some new opprotunities my way.  Chad Gittus and I have decided to team up and fish the RDT tournament series.  We went out and got sponsorships from, Greens towing, Bandit Industries, Attitude Outdoors, BW's, CoCo Joes, Nemisis baits, Pale horse rods, and Kustom Kicker jigs.  We are very proud to be sponsored by such great companies.  We are really looking forward to fishing this series and being able to fish together as partners.  I will also be fishing with my dad Randy and son Drew for the SPI series and the 10-10 series.  It will be great to have three generations in the boat having fun!  Dad and I are also planning on hitting a few Case of the Mondays and of course Eric and i will be at the Tamarack Case of the Mondays to try and reclaim our wins!  Dad and I and Chip and I are also going to try and fish a couple of Weekend Warrior opens.  Then there will be the the tuesday night Blast Off's!!  This is fun fishing one on one with a great group of guys!  So my tourney season is stacked this year and I can't wait to get it rolling.

I'm thinking of changing the 10-10 website around a bit to help spot light our members.  More to come on that later!

2011

So the 2011 season is right around the corner.  I managed to wet some lines fishing for steelhead, then did some perch fishing.  It felt great getting out and fishing, brings the life back into you after a long winter.  So after much thought and discussion with some of the members, I decided to scale back a bit.  When we (the club) first started there was a lot of interest, but as time went on the interest went away.  I feel there was a few different factors in why this happened.  So with that in mind I decided hey lets get back to why I wanted to start this club in the first place, TO HAVE FUN FISHING!!  This year we are throwing out membership fees.  The money I have left in the account will help keep the website up, be able to replace anything that might break, and buy a few prizes!.  My work schedule is also different so it is a lot harder for me to host as many tournaments.  I hope we can draw a few old boats and few new boats to the tournaments.  I'm also up for suggestions on other fishing related activities that people might want to do.  Over the last few years there have been a couple of tournaments that have really stuck out in my mind that I imagined what the club would be like..i.e. the 2 Martiny opens, Townline a couple of years ago, Chippewa last year, Mecosta Open last year, and our two picnic tournaments.  These stuck out for different reasons, but the same theme was at all of them, family teams,  good friends, and a lot of laughs and good times!!  I hope this year we can make some new memories and have a lot of smiles.  So with that said WELCOME TO THE 2011 10-10 Bass Busters SEASON!!!
